How We Measure Clothing
1. Flat-Lay Measurements:
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat on a surface. This provides accurate sizing and helps eliminate inconsistencies caused by stretch or body shape.
2. Key Measurement Points:
- Chest/Bust: Measured across the front from underarm seam to underarm seam.
- Shoulders: Measured across the front from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve Length: Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
- Inseam (for pants): Measured from the bottom of the crotch seam to the bottom hem.
- Length: Measured from the highest point on the shoulder to the bottom hem.
- Thigh: Measured from the bottom of the crotch seam to the outside of the leg parallel to the waistband.
- Hem: Measured across the leg opening from one edge to the other.
- Rise: Measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch seam.
- Waist: Measured from the top of the waistband from one side to the other.
Note, all measurements are done by hand. Please allow +/- 0.5 inches of error.
3. Fit Notes
Each product includes a brief fit description (e.g., true to size, runs small, oversized) and model information to help you gauge how the garment might fit your body type.
