From Pure Blue Japan comes the Boro Jacquard Western Shirt in Indigo. The Western Shirt is a slim-fit button up shirt featuring western-style yokes, dual flap-over button closure chest pockets, and button fastened cuffs.
The shirt is constructed using a custom 9oz Jacquard cotton fabric made from genuine indigo dyed warp yarns and sulphur-dyed weft yarns. Using vintage jacquard weaving machines, the yarns are woven together to create a Boro-like pattern throughout, mimicking repair stitches and patches often seen on true boro garments.
Additional details include a single needle stitch construction using vintage sewing machines, ceramic snap buttons, gusseted side seams, and PBJ leaf embroidery.
