From Applied Art Form's comes the BM1-2 Light Zone Parka in Washed Charcoal. The BM1-2 takes inspiration from classic military parka silhouettes and features an oversized fit with a dual front zip/button closure, adjustable cuffs, throat latch, and two front flap-over hand pockets.
The parka is constructed using a lighter gauge of Ventile for the shell, making it suitable to wear in warmer weather. This cotton fabric was originally designed for air force pilots during WWII, due to its breathability, water repellent characteristics, and durability. Once constructed, the parka is given a sustainable treatment using ozone and cold pigments to give each item a uniquely faded look. Each jacket is handcrafted in very limited quantities in the Netherlands to exceptional standards.
Additional details include waist cords and cords at the hem to create the desired shape or look, durable life vest button construction, removable hood, gold plated YKK zip with a drawstring zipper pull, and internal velcro patches that can be used to shorten the length of the parka.
