From Freenote Cloth comes the Flight Jacket-2 in Natural. Drawing influence from archetypal flight jackets, the FJ-2 has a regular fit with a front zip closure, two welt hand pockets, one zip chest pocket, adjustable zip sleeves, and action back gusset shoulders.
The jacket was sewn in Los Angeles, California using a natural wax-finished Italian Steerhide that will develop an incredible patina with use. Each jacket is about one hide which ensures the jacket is consistent in grain and thickness. Each jacket is sew by a single sewer who comes from the leather making region of Leon, Mexico, where only one jacket can be produced a day. For this specific item, there were only 6 pieces produced total. The jacket body and pocket lining uses a custom southwestern print cotton fabric from Japan, whereas the sleeves are lined using a cotton/rayon blend satin.
Additional details include special order reproduction Universal zippers from Japan, an interior welt chest pocket, and a woven label from Italy.
Tagged size L and fits a TTS M/L. Please refer to measurements for best fit. Condition is 9.5/10; very minimal signs of wear. Any imperfections shown are natural to the hide.
