From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2014 SPOT Collection comes the Mies Coat in Black. The Mies is a 3-button soutein collar Balmacaan coat cut in a regular silhouette featuring two slanted welt hand pockets, two interior inset chest pockets, a button/loop neck closure, and button fastened sleeves.
The coat is constructed using a custom wool-cotton blend fabric utilizing cotton threads for the warp, and wool fibers for the weft to create a dry, uneven texture. The coat is lined using a cotton/linen blend twill fabric.
Additional details include various vegetable ivory buttons, cotton/poly blend corduroy cuff piping, vintage Japanese Kofu fabric paneling used for the cuff lining and interior neck detailing, and a hand-twisted hemp yarn neck closure loop.
