From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2015 Indigo Camping Trailer Collection comes the Kerchief Down Jacket Kofu in Indigo Pattern. The Kerchief is a western-inspired shirt jacket cut in a slim silhouette featuring a front button closure, two button-fastened chest pockets, adjustable button cuffs, a curved hem, and a throat latch neck closure.
The jacket is constructed using a patchwork fabric made of vintage Japanese kofu panels. The lining is made from a cotton-linen blend fabric featuring a Native American print colored using natural dyes including mud, cochineal, and indigo. Once constructed, the jacket was soaked and dyed in iron-rich mud from local Amami-Ōshima rice paddies in Japan, for a truly unique appearance and hand-feel.
Additional details include a goose down filling, original brass snap buttons, western-style yoking, and a vintage Kofu neck label.
