From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2018 Contrary Dept. First Collection comes the Liner Vest in Beige. The Liner Vest takes inspiration from the military M51 parka liner featuring a reversible design, front zip closure, two hand pockets, one chest pocket, and torso tab adjusters.
The jacket was constructed using a specially processed cotton/nylon blend fabric. Once constructed, the jacket was soaked and dyed in iron-rich mud from local Amami-Ōshima rice paddies in Japan, resulting in a unique worn-in charm. The jacket is lined using a custom wool-alpaca pile fleece fabric.
Additional details include vintage crown zip closure, cotton herringbone piping reinforcement, original vegetable ivory nut buttons, and liner attachment button holes.
Tagged size 5 and fits a TTS XL. Please refer to measurements for best fit. Condition is new without tags.
Released for the Downtown LA Flagship store Grand Opening event. This event also introduced their Contrary Dept. sub-label. Limited to 50 pieces produced.
