From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2018 Collection comes the El-Capitan Boots-Folk in Black. Taking inspiration from military combat boots, the El Capitan are a lace-up boot with a high-top silhouette featuring two speed hooks, a medial side-zip closure, and premium leather construction.
The boots feature vegetable-tanned horsehide uppers - chosen for its durability and unique aging characteristics, leather stacked midsoles, and leather outsoles with a rubber heel that are handsewn to the uppers using a Goodyear welt.
Additional details include brass lacing hardware, rope laces, Swiss RIRI zip, leather lining and insole, cork footbed, and a Japanese Kyon leather tongue tab with 'VSVM' branding made from lacquer paint drips by hand.
