From Visvim's Fall/Winter collection comes the Jumbo Tee in Mud. The jumbo silhouette has an oversized cut, with a slightly cropped length, one chest pocket, and a drop shoulder design.
The tee is constructed using a Mud-dyed cotton jersey fabric. The dyeing technique is 1300 year old Japanese method called dorozome. The process consists of Boiling a flowering plant, known in Japan as sharinbai, in a large vat for two days in order to create a liquid extract. The shirt is then dipped repeatedly in this extract, and afterwards immersed in mud. This causes a chemical reaction between the acid pigment in the sharinbai extract and the iron in the mud, which gives birth to a deep, uniquely lustrous black dye.
Additional details include one chest pocket, and Visvim's signature hand-stitched ghost tag at the neck.
