From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2019 SPOT Collection comes the Black Elk Flannel N.D. in Pink. The Black Elk has an oversized cut featuring two flap button chest pockets, a front button placket, adjustable sleeves, and a curved hem.
The shirt is constructed using woven flannel fabric made from natural cochineal-dyed Gara-Bou spun yarns. Gara-Bou is a traditional Japanese yarn-spinning machine developed in 1876 that mimics hand-spinning through a slow, irregular process. Gara-Bou yarn is slubby and uneven, with a unique warmth and character typically only found in hand-spun materials. Though incredibly labor-intensive, this method creates a rare, tactile fabric full of personality. Today, only one spinning house still uses the Gara-Bou, making these textiles increasingly rare and precious.
Additional details include original water Buffalo horn buttons and Visvim's signature hand stitched collar detail.
