From Visvim Fall/Winter 2020 SPOT Hiroki Nakamura Table Collection comes the Dome Bucket Hat in Ivory.
The hat is constructed using an original cotton Bark Cloth (Kapa). Bark cloth was widely used in America from the 1930's to the 1960's, primarily as a fabric for interior furnishings and Hawaiian shirts. The name "bark cloth" is said to have come from the bark-like texture of the fabric, which has an uneven weave pattern and fibers that stand up and do not cling to the skin. The natural color is achieved by using a traditional mud dye technique from Amami-Ōshima. The fabric is finished using a custom screen-printed cowboy print and a cotton twill lining.
