From Visvim’s Fall/Winter 2021 Collection comes the Christo in Olive. Inspired by Bulgarian artists Christo Javacheff and Jeanne-Claude de Guillebon, the sandal draws many parallels from the couple's work such as the wrapping of bridges, natural formations, and the simplicity in everyday objects.
The sandal is constructed using an army twill fabric made from densely woven nylon for the uppers, ultra light EVA Phylon midsoles, and custom Vibram rubber outsoles.
Additional details include a strap-over-wrap assembly, leather lining and insole, cork footbed, and a Japanese Kyon leather tongue tab with 'VSVM' branding using lacquer paint drips by hand.
