From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2022 Collection comes the Purser Deck JKT in Navy. Taking inspiration from the 1940s naval N-1 Deck jacket, the Purser features a boxy fit with a drop shoulder, dual button/zip closure, two slanted welt front pockets, hidden ribbed cuffs, and an interior zip chest pocket.
The jacket is constructed using a German Corduroy fabric made from specially processed cotton. The fabric is woven from weft yarn with a special twisting process. This strong and flexible fabric was originally produced on German high-density looms and was used for military purposes for its characteristics. The body lining is made from a custom wool/linen/silk blend blanket reminiscent of vintage Lee linings, while the sleeve lining uses rayon. Once constructed, the jacket was damaged processed for a vintage and weathered appearance.
Additional details include original buffalo horn buttons, and Swiss RIRI zippers.
Tagged size 5 and fits a TTS XL. Please refer to measurements for best fit. Condition is 8/10; very minimal signs of wear. Some repaired areas were replaced with vintage Japanese kofu fabric swatches which looks incredible. Comes with full set.
