From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2023 SPOT Collection comes the Kerchief Down Jacket in Brown. The Kerchief is a western-inspired shirt jacket with an oversized fit featuring a front button closure, two chest pockets, adjustable cuffs, drop shoulders, and a curved hem.
The jacket is constructed using a vintage shibori-zome silk material. "Shibori-zome" is a traditional dyeing technique where part of the fabric being dyed is tied off with thread before being exposed to the dye. The dye does not soak into the part of the fabric that is tied off, which in turn creates a pattern; the pattern is characterized by individual differences in the appearance of the material after it is dyed and begins to bleed which makes every outcome entirely unique. The jacket is lined using a smooth rayon fabric and filled using Superior Polish White Goose Down.
Additional details include original snap buttons, western-style yoke paneling, and a throat latch closure.
