From Visvim’s Fall/Winter 2022 Collection comes the Virgil Boot in Black. The Virgil is a mid-cut combat boot featuring a dual lace eyelet/speed hook closure, leather uppers, and rubber outsoles.
The boots are constructed using pigment coated teacore French vegetable-tanned lambskin uppers, stacked leather and EVA phylon midsoles, and Vibram rubber outsoles that are hand-sewn to the uppers using a Goodyear leather welt. The pigment will wear away revealing the natural lambskin hide underneath developing an incredible patina with use.
Additional details include brass hardware, pigment-free leather lining and insole, a cork footbed, a TPU heel stabilizer, and a Japanese Kyon leather tongue tab with 'VSVM' branding using lacquer paint drips by hand.
