From Visvim's Fall/Winter 2023 Collection comes the SS 101XX JKT in Indigo. The 101XX is a boxy take on the classic Levi's type II silhouette and features a front button closure, two button chest pockets, side seam zip pockets, elongated balloon sleeves, button fastened cuffs, a drop shoulder design, and button adjustable hem.
The jacket is constructed using Visvim's original 13oz Social Sculpture unsanforized raw denim. This fabric is made with the deepest colored yarn possible, utilizing the rope dyeing method, and has a deeper blue color that can be retained for a longer period of time. The denim is woven at a lower setting allowing for an uneven texture of the fabric that becomes more evident with wear. Once constructed, the denim were soaked and dyed in iron-rich mud from local Amami-Ōshima rice paddies in Japan, resulting in a unique worn-in charm throughout.
Additional details include original buttons, zippers, and rivets, and a brain-tanned natural indigo-dyed German deerskin back patch.
