From Yuketen’s Fall/Winter 2024 Collection comes the Rob’s Loafer in Pale Brown. Inspired by the classic American penny loafer, the Rob’s Loafer reinterprets a timeless Ivy League silhouette through Yuki Matsuda’s unique lens; built on Yuketen’s favored 1950s moccasin last.
The upper is handcrafted from Opera’s full-grain tumbled Palermo leather, vegetable tanned in Toscana, Italy. Constructed using Genuine Moccasin Construction, the leather wraps completely underneath the foot. The loafer is finished using a Vibram Tuscany outsole that is Goodyear welted to the uppers allowing for sole replacement once worn down.
Additional details include a custom vegetable tanned leather insole with integrated arch support, overcast stitching along the foot opening, and collar and heel counter reinforcements.
