From Taiga Takahashi comes the Lot. 704 Denim Trousers in Damaged Indigo. The Lot. 704 is a 5-pocket pant cut in a regular fit with a wide leg, high rise, button fly, and cinch back.
The pants recreate vintage "Foremost” denim which was made by J.C. Penny in the 1920s. The pants are constructed using an original 11oz denim manufactured in Okayama; woven using 100% American organic cotton fibers on a vintage shuttle loom creating a natural unevenness and irregularity in the texture. The warp yarn is dyed with indigo mixed with sulfur dye, white the weft is custom-made nep yarn dyed in yellow, combined to create a unique indigo hue which is deep and rich. Once constructed, the pants were salt-shrink professed and distressed to create a unique worn-in look and texture.
Additional details include original 1940s-inspired Art Deco iron buttons, rivets, and cinch buckle, a mud-dyed cow leather back patch, and custom selvedge ID piping throughout.
