From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2014 Indigo Camping Trailer Collection comes the Kerchief Down Jacket in Purple. The Kerchief is a western-inspired shirt jacket cut in a slim silhouette featuring a front button closure, two button-fastened chest pockets, adjustable button cuffs, and a curved hem.
The jacket is constructed using a patchwork fabric made of vintage US-made Colorfast cotton bandanas. The lining is made from a cotton-linen blend fabric featuing a Native American print colored using natural dyes including mud, cochineal, and indigo. Once constructed, the jacket was soaked and dyed in iron-rich mud from local Amami-Ōshima rice paddies in Japan, for a truly unique appearance and hand-feel.
Additional details include a goose down filling, original brass snap buttons, western-style yoking, and a vintage Kofu neck label.
