From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2014 Collection comes the Mies Coat in Navy. The Mies is a 3-button soutien collar Balmacaan coat cut in a regular silhouette featuring two slanted welt hand pockets, two interior inset chest pockets, a button/loop neck closure, and button fastened sleeves.
The coat is constructed using a high density chino fabric made from super long staple cotton fibers. Once constructed, the coat was sulphur dyed and damage processed for a worn-in look. The coat is lined using a cotton/linen blend twill fabric featuring hand-block printing throughout.
Additional details include vegetable ivory buttons, linen/cotton/nylon blend fabric cuff piping, cotton/linen blend fabric sleeve lining, a hand-twisted hemp yarn neck closure loop, and indigo dyed calico print linen fabric used for the pocket lining and neck detailing.
