From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2015 collection comes the incredibly rare PFD Vest in Olive. The PFD takes a Japanese twist on the WWII Personal Flotation Device (life vest). It sports a slim cut with a cropped body, wide arm opening, v-neck opening, a front zip closure, waist adjusters, and a reversible design.
The vest is constructed using a specially treated cotton herringbone fabric shell that has been garment dyed and damage processed by hand leaving it with a soft, slubby texture and slight fading throughout. The lining is made from a custom silk/cotton blend fabric featuring a Japanese-motif print that was created using natural dyes; a very painstaking and long process that leaves no two prints alike. The vest is also down filled using hand-picked Polish White Superior Goose Down chosen for its luxurious warmth, softness, and superior insulating properties.
Additional details include custom damaged brass hardware, Swiss RIRI zippers, and buckle/strap detailing at the front.
Tagged size 5 but fits small. Best for a tts 3. Condition is new without tags or bag.
