From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2019 Collection comes SS 101 JKT DMGD-1002 in Indigo. The 101 Jacket is modern twist on the classic Levi's Type II silhouette and features a slim cut with a front button closure, an elongated length, elongated sleeves, two button chest pockets, two side seam zip pockets, button fastened cuffs, and button adjustable hem tabs.
The jacket is constructed using an original 14oz Social Sculpture selvedge denim that was woven on vintage shuttle looms using indigo rope-dyed yarns with varying slub lengths. This combination allows the denim to have an uneven surface texture with incredible fading capabilities. Once constructed, the jacket is put through a meticulous wash and damage process which includes distressing and applying paint splatter by hand.
Additional details include original in-house buttons, rivets and zippers, custom navy selvedge piping throughout, and a brain-tanned natural indigo-dyed German elk suede back patch.
