From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2020 Collection comes the Thorson in Beige. The Thorson is a take on the classic MA-1 bomber featuring a regular fit with a cropped length, front zip closure, slanted welt hand pockets, an MA-1 sleeve pocket, an interior zip chest pocket, and ribbed waist, cuffs, and collar.
The jacket is constructed using specially twisted cotton warp and nylon weft fibers that are densely interwoven to create a unique fabric with a smooth touch and soft body. It is lined using lustrous rayon fabric and filled using a wool pile. Once constructed, the jacket was soaked and dyed in iron-rich mud from local Amami-Ōshima rice paddies in Japan, and damage processed for a weathered appearance.
Additional details include Swiss RIRI zippers, original snap buttons, original military chest taping, and ribbing made from knitted wool/linen blend fibers.
