From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2021 Collection comes the Skagway Hi G.Patten in Light Green. The Skagway G.Patten is a chunky take on the Converse Chuck 70, cut in a hi-top silhouette with lace-up closures, premium fabric uppers and vulcanized rubber outsoles.
The shoe is constructed using a pigment coated Japanese canvas fabric for the uppers. The pigment will wear off with use creating a unique patina over time. The shoe is finished with stacked rubber midsoles, and custom rubber outsoles. Once constructed, the shoe was damage-processed for a worn appearance.
Additional details include pigment free leather lining and insoles, a cork footbed, original Visvim stamp detail, leather paneling on the tongue and heel chimney, and a Japanese Kyon leather tongue tab with 'VSVM' branding using lacquer paint drips by hand.
