From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2021 Collection comes the Wallis Shirt in Beige. The Wallis is a short-sleeve button up shirt with a boxy cut, drop shoulders, an open collar, and one chest pocket.
The shirt is constructed using a silk screen printed silk fabric. The print is applied by hand utilizing printing plates; slight deviations are created by using separate plates for each color, expressing a texture and depth of manual work. The print is an original drawing from Hiroki Nakamura created on Japanese washi paper using mineral pigments ("Iwa-Enogu") found in Kyoto.
Additional details include original bamboo buttons and an indigo dyed fabric tab at the hem.
