From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2023 Collection comes the SS 101XX JKT Mud Overdye in Indigo. The 101XX is a boxy take on the classic Levi's type II silhouette featuring a front button closure, two button chest pockets, side seam zip pockets, elongated balloon sleeves, button fastened cuffs, drop shoulders, and adjustable hem.
The jacket is constructed using Visvim's original 14oz Social Sculpture Red Selvedge denim. This fabric is made with the deepest colored yarn possible, utilizing the rope dyeing method, and has a deeper blue color that can be retained for a longer period of time. The denim is woven at a lower setting allowing for an uneven texture of the fabric that becomes more evident with wear. Once constructed, the jacket was mud overdyed for an entirely unique look and textural finish.
Additional details include original copper buttons, zippers, and rivets, and a brain-tanned natural indigo-dyed German buckskin suede back patch.
