From Visvim's Spring/Summer 2024 Collection comes the Fabro-Folk in Dark Brown. The Fabro is a penny loafer constructed using leather uppers, leather stacked midsoles, and rubber outsoles.
The shoes are constructed using an Italian vegetable-tanned Shell Cordovan horsehide uppers. Cordovan comes from a small, dense membrane in a horse’s hindquarters and is naturally rare because only two shells can be taken from each animal. It is vegetable-tanned and hand-finished over many months, resulting in leather that is extremely smooth, durable, and water-resistant. With age it will develop a deep natural shine and beautiful patina that can last for decades.
Additional details include custom Vibram rubber outsoles that are hand-sewn to the uppers using a Goodyear welt construction, hand-sewn moccasin style toe, pigment free leather lining and insole, leather welt, and a hand-stitched tongue detail.
