From A.Presse's Spring/Summer 2025 Collection comes the 1st Type Denim Jacket in Indigo. The 1st Type Jacket is a 4-button jacket modeled after a WW2-era 506XXE, known as the "T-back" style featuring a boxy cut with a drop shoulder, one patch chest pocket with riveted reinforcement, and a cinch-back adjustment. The main discrepancy being the riveted pockets, which were not found on Type 1 jackets during WW2.
The jacket is constructed using a custom woven high-density 13oz red-selvedge indigo denim, recreating the threading used in the 501xx from the late '50s to early '60s. The vertical fading creates a beautiful, vintage feel. Once constructed, the jacket was hand processed for an uneven color to recreate a vintage aging effect.
Additional details include original tuck buttons and rivets, custom red-selvedge ID piping, and a custom cinch-back metal buckle.
